Royal Productions proudly presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Showtimes are Nov. 16, 17, 18 at 7pm and a matinee Nov. 18 at 2pm in the HHS auditorium.

Ticket Prices are $12 for Adults and $10 for Students (K-12)/Seniors (65+). All Hopkins employees and family members tickets are $10 each.

Game Recap

Hopkins opened up semi final play in the 6AAAA playoffs against Edina on Tuesday night. Combining strong defensive play and consistent offensive pressure, the Royals beat the Hornets 6-1, avenging an earlier loss. Mak Merritt controlled the Hornet’ s bats throwing a 2 hitter while striking out 6. Merritt was backed by strong outfield play from Morgan Hawley, Evelyn Barczak and Adisa Preston. The Royals offense was led by Natalie DenHartog and Cassy Huiras who each drove in two runs and had two hits. Hopkins hitters had great at bats against Edina’s pitcher and put pressure on the Hornet defense consistently forcing 4 errors. The win moves the top ranked Royals to Friday afternoon’s finals matchup where they will await the survivor of Armstrong, Wayzata, and Edina in the loser bracket play. A win on Friday will send the Royals to their second straight state tournament appearance.

Game Recap

“Finding ways to win” is the usual theme at sections time. On Thursday, the Royals found their ways. Riding a strong tandem pitching performance from co-Captains Makenzie Merritt and Kirsten Magaard, the Royals downed the Armstrong Eagles 4-2. The Royals usual potent offensive attack was held to 1 hit. Using Eagle errors, hit by pitches, and walks, Hopkins put up 4 runs. Parker Stoddard and Evelyn Barczak drove in runs for the favored Royals. The M&M combo of Merritt and Magaard scattered four hits and the Royals defense shut down Armstrong. The Royals advance to face conference rival Edina in the Section 6AAAA semi-finals at Hopkins on Tuesday.

Game Recap

The Hopkins Royals returned to their winning ways on Monday winning a Lake Conference game against Eden Prairie 8-3. The Royals bats returned to form with Natalie DenHartog and Makenzie Merritt leading the way. DenHartog went 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs and a home run. Merritt drove in 3 runs while also homering. Annika Crouser added 2 hits and an RBI as the Royals threatened in every inning. Merritt earned the complete game win. She struck out 8 Eagle hitters, scattering 6 hits. Merritt was backed by strong defensive play by the Royals defense. The win puts the Royals at 10-6 on the year. They travel to Visitation tomorrow for a non-conference matchup.

Game Recap

Hopkins lost 9-1 to the Champlin Park Rebels on Friday. The Royals had six hits led by Hannah Kleist who went 2 for 4. Evelyn Barczak drove in the lone Royals run. The loss moved the Royals to 9-6 on the season as they head into the last week of the season.

The Hopkins Royals played Edina in a Lake Conference matchup on Wednesday. The Hornets stung the home team 11-1 in five innings to post the win. Edina’s hot bats put up runs in five of the six innings played. The loss drops the Royals to 9-5 on the season and 3-3 in the conference as they travel to Champlin Park for a non-conference matchup on Friday.
