In the first regular season meeting of the year against the Maple Grove Crimson, the Robins played a solid, all around team game and came away with a 9-1 victory. Andy Hanson dominated the scoring for the Robins in the first period, netting 3 goals, and then Cory Tesch took over from there. Tesch scored 5 of the next 6 goals for the Robins with Josh Aydil scoring the other. Hanson finished the game with 3 goals and 2 assists, Tesch finished with 5 goals and 3 assists, Aydil finished with 1 goal, and Jacquie Barry and Casey Balint each finished with 1 assist. Every player on the roster saw a nice chunk of playing time, and all made a positive contribution toward the win. Hayley Engebretsen held down the goaltending duties for all 45 minutes, making 22 saves. Jordan O’Donnell blocked 2 shots, Lydia Mazza blocked 6 and Sam Campion blocked 4.
